Etno Ballet Paris and choreographer Dana Musa present a new, original interpretation of the world masterpiece CARMEN to the music of Georges Bizet.

The innovation of the performance is that there is no classic love triangle and there are four Carmen on stage instead of one! Four Carmen characters, four faces, four different bodies, all portraying one character - free-spirited, selfish, beautiful, modern, independent Carmen!

Don José, in love without memory, at first bathes in this multifaceted happiness of love and passion, having relationships with four different Carmen, but gradually he feels that he is losing control, that he does not have the power he wants over this woman, that love alone is not enough, that he needs to dominate and be convinced that all parts of Carmen, her whole body and her whole life, belong to him alone!

In the end he loses his head and his common sense and does not forgive Carmen her freedom, her multiplicity, her diversity..... he kills her, kills all four of her different interpretations !

Besides Carmen, there is another important female character in the play, the Goddess of Love, who leads and follows José and Carmen's love story.

At the crucial last moment, the Goddess of Love turns away from José, condemning him to eternal solitude, and sacrifices herself for Carmen's resurrection......
